Oddly enough, my last post here was focused on balance. Spoiler alert… I did NOT find balance in 2021. Nor did it happen in 2022. But in 2023, I figured for my sanity and health determining what balance to me is mission critical.
In 2021, I was trying to be a marketer, photographer, lifestyle business owner, blogger, and so on and so forth. Trying to get all of my small one off tasks done plus the adjustment of starting a new job was TOO MUCH.
2022, I decided that I didn’t want to keep up a personal blog anymore so I ended this subscription and closed it down. No one noticed, right? Right. I kept my domain name in case I ever wanted to use it, and I also believe in owning my name. (Also, whoever owns Kaeyla.com, just know that I’m keeping an eye on that one. )
Then, this year happened. It was different. It felt a little bit bigger. It felt… Beyonce.
I’m not a BeyHive member, but I like to think of myself as a friend of the hive? But this year I saw her for THE first time in concert and it was a moment to remember. After sharing how the show went and my takeaways, my friend Fenise told me to blog about it. The only problem was that I had gotten rid of this site. HA. So, now the site is back minus the marketing items, the case studies, and it’s just a plain ole blog about my music experiences and whatnots.
I feel like so much time has passed since I last wrote on here that I should probably start with this summer recaps and just work in reverse until I get back to August 2021, at least.
So I’ve decided try my hand (again?) at writing about my concert recaps, and relevant life moments here. So if you’re down, I’m down.
