I don’t have a qutoe for this post or much to say really. So… Here’s a brief timeline of my life for this post.

November 12, 2018: I put in my two weeks notice at my job and rocked out to Jessie Reyez’s concert. Check out the concert recap here.

November 26: My last day on the job and I was excited.

December: Concert. Concert. Concert. Concert. Then I’m moving back home.

So I put my two weeks notice in at my job and it was great. I saved for it and I had a semi- plan. Yay? I knew that I would be moving soon and wanted to have a blast for my final days as a tax-paying, Detroit resident. I was excited but also had to finish selling everything and preparing to move. You never know how much stuff you have until you have to prepare for a cross country move.

So I packed up my apartment and started going to concerts in this order…

  1. Childish Gambino + Vince Staples in Nashville
  2. HER in Detroit (the following day after CG+VS)
  3. Travis Scott in Detroit
  4. The Internet in Detroit (my final show.. tear…)

The literal definition of living my best life. I saved, I worked, I deserve. I deserve it all.

The highlights for all of those concerts will come soon so yay- relive my adventures. Until then, here’s a trio of Jessie Reyez videos.
